How can we create a space for conscious closure and realignment?

Team Reset

Format: Team-Offsite, Workshop
Service: Concept Development and Facilitation

Teams often invest a great deal of time and energy in projects and routines that are long outdated—but a conscious closure is missing. Holding on to the past ties up resources and prevents new opportunities from being recognized and seized. Team offsites are often used to add even more items to the agenda, launch additional projects, and plan further initiatives.

In the Team Reset, we did exactly the opposite: it provided an unusual space to pause, reflect on routines, and courageously let go—without immediately starting something new. This created clarity about which topics truly serve the team and which can be released to make space for new initiatives.

- What do we hold on to simply because “it’s always been this way”?
- Which routines no longer serve us and should be left behind?
- Which projects consume our energy without generating real value?
- Which tasks or responsibilities feel more like a burden than a meaningful contribution?

From there, the team collaboratively designed a conscious new beginning, asking: “What truly matters to us as a team, and where do we want to focus our energy?”
